Administration
The Administration Module is a smart module that defines and manages all the organizational configurable fields and data (such as organization definition, structure, and layout) in the setting page. This module also manages the users and their privileges through a single sign-on (SSO). A system administrator can define the system users and an assistant or more to him/her. The assistants’ security levels and access are also configurable by the primary system administrator. Through this module, the system administrator can create a workspace that can be used for a college, program, or a state. Then, academic years and semesters can be defined as well. Master courses for the organization and assets (labs, classrooms, devices, etc.) are defined on the level of the organization. A workspace coordinator needs to assign courses to the current semester.
Item Banking
The Item Banking Module is a flexible, efficient and reliable tool that enables the management of the following processes: assessment framework creation and test blueprint design, item storage, item creation, editing, change tracking, smart item search and remote item writing as well.. It also allows a bank-owner to create a review workflow and define writing assignments to bank users. It also provides automation of test forms assembly using the search engine, the stored test blueprint or specified criteria.
Data Management & Analysis
The Data Management and Analysis Module is the logical module in which data management procedures take place, and various statistical analyses are done. Data verification procedures are created and checked by this module and reported within different reports in the system. This module also performs both Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT) analysis. The analysis is done on both item and test levels. Its role in test assembly is massive to ensure the formation of equated test-forms.
Paper-Based Tests
Gourmet assists educators and evaluators in creating paper-based tests (PBT). Once test forms have been constructed and reviewed by the bank owner, the PBT module allows users to export the test in Microsoft Word File Format © or save it in PDF format before sending it to the printer. Test scoring rubrics can also be printed for constructed response items in various test forms. An exceptional feature of this module is that it can create a test PDF file for each test-taker with his/her data (name, ID, gender, barcode, etc.) on the cover page. It also allows the user to import an OMR designed pdf booklet and generate a new pdf file with the personal data for each test-taker. It also handles the attendance of the test-takers on the test.
