The Faculty of Arts at Alexandria University was one of the first colleges in Egypt to recognize the advantages of e-testing. In 2016, the faculty implemented the Intelligent Testing Gate (the first generation of Assessment Gourmet), collaborating with technicians from the Advanced Group for Information Technology (AGI) to ensure the success of this initiative—the first of its kind in Egyptian universities. The system proved highly effective in its first year and was subsequently adopted as a primary evaluation method within the faculty. It significantly reduced the time and effort required by faculty members and expedited the issuance of results.
